Why shoot the public for Dhammika Perera?

The factory in Rathupaswala, Waliweriya which made news during the past few days for being accused of releasing poisonous material to the drinking water, is named "Wingross" and it belongs to the Hayleys company.

Residents in the area say that the water sources which fulfilled the needs of people in 10 villages in the area have been polluted by the release of poisonous waste by the factory since a long time.

The majority share holder of the Hayleys company is Mr. Dhammika Perera, who is a well known Casino businessman businessman and the secretary to the transport ministry.

He is also the chairman of Sampath bank and owns the majority of shares in nearly 40 more companies.

Teacher under the schoolgirl's bed

British media reported an incident where a mother returning home early from her shift to check up on her daughter on the last day of term, and discovering an unexpected visitor, the girl’s Math teacher, hiding under her bed.

The suspect is a 35 year old male.

The house is situated in Bolton, Manchester.

It is said that the girl had gone to her house with the teacher as the house was empty at that time.

ANANDA SARATH WILL NOT GET NOMINATIONS

No nominations for Ananda who made teacher kneel down ....because of loose talk!




News circulated around in the recent past that former PC member Mr.Ananda Sarath Kumara who was involved in the incident of making a teacher of Nawagaththegama Maha Vidyalaya kneel down was to receive nominations for the forthcoming North-West PC elections.

He was passed at the initial interview of the UNFP on the basis that if he contested at this crucial hour, he would have an outstanding victory and that the party too would gain benefits through the voting.
